Money Tree

Today was Card Challenge day at Mothers and Daughters! This week our challenge was to create a card to hold money or a gift card. I saw this idea in Paper Crafts and decided to give it a try!
I used white card stock for my base and for the scalloped circle. I cut the cardstock on the fold so that only one side would need to be glued. The tree is cut from Best Creations Ornament patterned paper (this paper is gilttered and embossed and is truly beautiful all by itself) and I used some gross grain ribbon from May Arts for the trunk. The felt flowers and crystal brad come from Zva Creative. The scalloped cQuicKutz circle was is stamped with a round holiday greeting from Daisy Bucket!
I enjoyed sharing this card with all of you. I hope you will take a moment and check out the other creations on the MDC Challenge Blog. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and don't forget . . . beginning Friday Mothers and Daughters will be having some great specials - stop by and check them out!

I love the way the pattern of the paper seems to 'decorate' your tree - very creative!
