This weeks scrapbooking challenge at the MDC Challenge Blog was to create a fall home decor item. My mom is moving into a new house shortly and she loves to quilt, so this one is for her! I purchased the plaque and the letters at Michaels - they are painted with Making Memories and Heidi Swapp paints. I decoupaged the Basic Grey Granola paper onto the plaque and then added the letters. I adhered the corner accent, also from the Basic Grey Granola Collection Pack, to the wood frame and used foam dimensional squares to keep it up in the middle.
It was a lot of fun to do something different and I really enjoyed making something I know my mom will enjoy. Thanks for stopping by, see you Thursday for another MDC Challenge.
